A physical profile designator of “2” under any or all factors in the PULHES report indicates that an individual possesses some medical condition or physical defect that may require some activity limitations. A waiver will only bee needed if the exam calls for a 1 in the "E" factor. Your 2 may just mean that you possibly need corrective lenses.

Here's the vision standards for corrected vision using glasses or contacts. Anything worse than this is disqualifying. So, check your results and compare:
20/20 in the better eye. 20/400 in the other.
20/30 in the better eye. 20/100 in the other.
20/40 in the better eye. 20/70 in the other.
Your refractive index cannot exceed plus or minus eight diopters of refractive error. This last one is waiverable and is the only one which is so.

You can get retested any time after you reach your first duty station. Also look into getting corrective laser surgery. If you qualify the army will do it for free. I now have 20/15 to 20/10 in both eyes after the surgery. Just schedule an optometry apointment and ask about it after you get to your first duty assignment.

No it will not disqualify you. Vision problems are pretty common. You'll just need corrective lenses....either glasses or contacts.

If you're going active check into having surgery done to correct your vision. They are starting to provide it to servicemembers as a benefit....cheaper and more effective in the long run than glasses or contacts.
