I have a dog i want to try to train for coon hunting and he is a little over a year old. He turned one in Mid-July. He has had expeirience with coyote hutnig and can follow a trail, and has learned a few basic coon hunting tricks i taught him earlier. Do you think he is too old to leanr more or not? I dont need him to know everyting just a littel more than the basic like tricks and barking up the tree and when he is on one. He doesnt bark alot.

He is one fourth Borcer collie and Dalmation, and 1/2 boxer. His dad is a hunting dog, its in his blood. He has been coyote and rabbit hunting too.
