Food posioning is no fun... But according to NRA (national restruant association) you may keep it for 7 days if it's covered and stored in a fridge under 41 degrees F. This temperature may have been compromised when you put a hot crock pot of chili in your fridge, which has a tendency to lower the entire temp. of the fridge, in which case you should throw everything in your fridge away.... So it's really a 50/50 decision...you could eat it, cause it's been less than 7 days and it's been in the fridge...or you could play it on the safe side and just pitch the chili....

Depends on....if the crock pot is pottery then it should be fine. Was it covered? Was it put in right after you were done eating? Usually things like that are good for up to a week but a lot depends on how long everything sat out at room temp. You don't want to leave anything out for more than an hour!

It should still be fine after 4 days. Actually 'll bet it will taste even better now that the flavors have blended well. I've kept it at least that long and I'm still here to tell the tale.

did you cool it down before putting it away? did you transfer it to a plastic container if you said no to any of the above I would not take a chance some people have a bad habit of putting away food still warm or putting it away in a metel container and the foods can breed bacteria or salmonella it in doubt throw it out

I would not be afraid to eat it. I agree that it will probably taste better now that the flavors have had time to mesh.
