It does have some pages with only a quarter of the page used. So it does have room for stamps. It is a UK passport. I am going to Thailand and Vietnam in 2 days and I am getting worried! I have already been to the Vietnamese embassy to get the travel visa and that took up a whole page..I am just worried about the custom stamps at immigration that the officials give you when you get there!

Actually, there are countries that won't let you in without at least one blank page. it's unusual, but it does happen. I don't think either Vietnam or Thailand have a problem with it. If you're an American, you will need a visa before you go to Vietnam. If you don't already have one, blank pages may not be your real problem. If you're really worried that you don't have enough space, you can always go to the US embassy in Bangkok and get additional pages, although believe me there are better things to do in Thailand.

Don't worry, it will be fine. You could have gotten a new passport, they do, if you ask for a rush, get it back to you in 2-3 days. Do that when you come back. I had the same thing, and I was given a stamp on official paper, which I had to keep with my passport. This is when I traveled to the middle east.

Yes, it's valid. And when you get back, request additional pages for the stamps.

Certainly it is. But you should have it updated. Only biometric passports will be valid in the future however. That includes EVERY country in the world.
