OK so my friend signed up for the military reserves and she is only going away for 6 months jan to may ..! Will she go to war ?? She is saying that she isn't going to war she is doing adminstration or something ! Please help ..because i want to do the same thing but i don't want to fight ! Please help! THanks!

Please, Don't.
If you are:
A. freaking out in this manner over a very simple problem,
B. not resourcefull enough to find your own answer to this question, or
C. unwilling to fight,
then you do not belong in the military. Sorry.
If you really want to help out in a "peacefull" way, then I suggest finding some sort of international volunteer organization or something, but leave the armed forces out of it.

Go see a recruiter for whatever branch it is you want and tell them you want an administrative position contract. Don't sign anything unless you get what you want in writing.

YOU WILL DEPLOY. period. yes, even desk jobs deploy. ESPECIALLY reservists.
if you are unwilling to go wherever, whenever for however long and do whatever is asked of you by your superiors, then DO NOT ENLIST.
