We do get to choose if we go to Heaven or Hell. But we must live a life pleasing to God in order to make it to heaven. Either way, there is Eternal life after we die. Just that some people will spend eternity in hell. And believe me, you DON'T want to live there! But that choice has to be made BEFORE you die!

Yes, you do choose whether you get to live eternally or whether you want to suffer for your sins in Hell. Jesus Christ is the door to eternal life. It is the greatest life you could possibly imagine. You would know everything, your whole family would be there, you would never get sick, no despair. You would get everything you ever wanted. How can you say that you do not want to live eternally in peace..? Would you rather burn in hell? You do not even know the meaning of what you are saying. Many people are so ignorant to the fact that Hell isn't great at all. God isn't going to ask you whether you want to go to Hell or not, because he already does that every day. You have to accept Jesus and be eternally saved.

No, you do not get to choose. When you die your thinking process ends. As Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 states.
What happens though is that you paid for your sins. Rom 6:23
So in the resurrection you start with a clean slate.
However there is one gray area, if you are still alive at the end of the world and not in a favorable position with your creator you could be cut off, or loose your life. Psalms 37:9.
So a wise thing to do then would be to ask questions, allow the scriptures to answers them, then conform to the accurate knowledge of God's word, putting off all false stories, and teachings of men. Live your life with truth and start acquiring truth from the bible, your instruction manual. Start at John 17:3
Above all things, don't assume, just be humble and keep testing to see that you understand.

You choose where you will go during this lifetime, by accepting or rejecting what Jesus bore on the Cross. The choice is up to you, but that choice must be made before you physically die. There is only two places to choose from.

You get to choose while you are still breathing. Your only choice is to live with God for eternity or to be separated from God for eternity. GOD BLESS!!

Yes we do get to choose if we will go to Heaven or Hell.
The Bible tells us that after the moment of death, a person is taken to Heaven or Hell based on whether he or she had received Christ as his or her Savior. For believers, after death is to be "away from the body and at home with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23). For unbelievers, after death means everlasting punishment in Hell (Luke 16:22-23).

Sure! You get to choose to either go to Sheol or to Hades. Sheol and Hades are the same place --- The Grave!! That is where you go and to no place else! You wait in the grave until either the first or second resurrection. 'Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.' 2 Tim 2:15.

there are people who believe that when we die we will choose to go to hell.
there are people who beleive that when we die we are judged and sent accordingly to our punishment or to our eternal reward.
i believe in the latter.
and i agree with you I would not want to live eternally in this mortal body.
as soon as possible, after my death, I would go to the tree of knowledge and eat the forbidden fruit. that is of course, if my eternal body were not any better than this mortal body.
if the resurrection is a total loss, then there is no reason to live immortality or eternal life.

God gives us free will on whether or not we want to spend eternity in Heaven. Either we choose Him or not.
