I'm refering to the Marine corps but hey armyy navy airforce u might know


I enlisted did boot mct blah blah and I graduate mos school nov 20th and go to pendleton for my PDS I'm excited cuz ill be pfc by the time I get there but I'm also curious as to when I get my bonus, it was an early ship one, so when do I get it does anyone in the military have expierience with this?

you need to talk to your NCO about it when you got to your first duty station. there is paperwork that has to be filed through ther the personell office or finance. your SGT should know though. All pay is through the same office for the military and DOD

(Process for the Army)
After arriving at your unit, speak with your Finance NCO. They will get the paperwork started. I recieved the first 50% of my bonus after about 1 month. The rest was paid out annually over the remaining 7 years of my enlistment.

It applies the same to all branches because we all get paid from the same place.

I got my bonus about 6 months after arriving to my unit.

as soon as you go to Finance and put in the Paperwork. it is NOT automatically paid out.
