it is not worth it they are not that expensive and less aggravation to just go buy one at an auto parts store that is already rebuilt.

you can rebuild them but most people rather the warranty and roughly same cost now for a caliper rebuilt by someone else and loaded with front brake pads already....

Plus it's hard to find the seals since everyone is doing it this way now...

But I have to echo the other answerers....

Why????

With a vehicle that is so common, and a part that is even more common. The price for the rebuild kit will be almost as much as buying a rebuilt one.

They are right, it is easier and around the same price to buy them already rebuilt with a warranty of some sort.

Get a kit, follow the directions. Best to get a new one. Not that expensive.

You don't---you take it for a trade in. Are you sure the caliper is defective ?
