Angiosperms are the entire class of flowering plants. The majority are photosynthetic so are autotrophic, but there are some that are heterotrophic. There are ~3000 species of non-photosynthetic members of the ~350,000 members plant kingdom. Less than 1% are able to survive this way. Some of these are mycoheterotrophic plants obtaining their nutrients by parasitizing beneficial fungus. The Monotropa belong to the Heath family.
Another group of flowering parasitic plants are the Mistletoes.
