Been done. The results were inconclusive because there was no mathematical model for the cultural influences at the time.
By modern standards, they were all nuts though.

Since there are no lies in the Bible or mental illness on the part of the writers, its not likely that forensic science will do yuo any good.

Define "all."
Please give evidence as to why they are "lies" as opposed to, at worst, "misunderstandings."
You can't "detect" mental illness. A forensic psychiatrist can say that certain people's behavior fits the common symptoms of a disorder, but that doesn't prove the people in question actually suffered from it.

How would you even do that? Put a Bible under the microscope and cut it open, looking for lie atoms?
The writers of the Bible are all dead, and finding mental illness in bones is somewhat difficult.
