You sure could have fooled this Catholic girl. Whether you intend to or no, your questions come across as a very thinly-veiled attack on our Church and our Faith.
If you want to lose the reputation you have of being a Catholic-basher, then try phrasing your questions a little more tactfully. As it stands, your wording is more along the lines of telling us what we believe, rather than asking us a honest, fact-finding question.
And one more thing you could do: try actually LISTENING to what we have to say, rather than assuming that you know everything there is to know about Catholicism. You don't have to agree with us on everything, but you could at least take off your own doctrinal glasses for a moment and look at things from our point of view. You might be surprised at how much we have in common if you'd stop driving a wedge of misunderstanding and untruths between us.
Edit:
Moose, your kind of "love" I could do without. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 13 years old -- 41 years ago. And yet you've said in more than one post that Catholics aren't Christians, which, by your lights, means that Jesus isn't our Savior.
That's judging me and my salvation, which is something that you have no right to do. I know in Whom I have believed, and that makes me just as much of a Christian as you are.

I read Galatians chapter 5, and I don't see what the discussion is about. There is the thing that says it doesn't matter if a man is circumcised or not, and there is a list of sins to avoid, and good things to cultivate. So what's the problem?
If someone said only Catholics go to heaven, it certainly wasn't the first time that has been said, and probably not the last. Pay it no mind.

Our doctrines are of Holy Sprit inspired Scriptures and Holy Spirit inspired Apostolic Tradition, not men.
I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. (John 16:12-13)
Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours. (2 Thessalonians 2:15)
We instruct you, brothers, in the name of (our) Lord Jesus Christ,to shun any brother who conducts himself in a disorderly way and not according to the tradition they received from us. (2 Thessalonians 3:6)
I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold fast to the traditions, just as I handed them on to you. (1 Corinthians 11:2)
The Catholic Church does not use Holy Scripture as the only basis of doctrine. It could not. The early Catholic church existed before and during the time that the New Testament was written (by Catholics).
There were hundreds of Christian writings during the first and second centuries. Which New Testament writings would become official was not fully decided until about 400 C.E.
Catholics believe that the Holy Spirit was guiding the early church (and is guiding the church today) to make the correct choices about things like:
+ The Holy Trinity (which is also only hinted at in the Bible)
+ Going to church on Sunday instead of Saturday (which is actually directly against one of the Ten Commandments)
+ The Communion of Saints
+ Which writings include in the New Testament?
Things that are even more modern like
+ Slavery is bad. Slavery is never declared evil in the Bible. This was one of the justifications for slavery in the Confederate States.
+ Democracy is good. The Bible states that either God should be the leader of the nation like Israel before the kings or kings should be the leader, "Give to Caesar that which is Caesar's." This was talked about a lot during the American Revolution.
This second source of doctrine is called Apostolic Tradition.
Do Christians who do not allow the continuing guiding force of the Holy Spirit to make their beliefs more and more perfect, still endorse slavery as Colossians 3:22 commands, "Slaves, obey your human masters in everything"?

To accuse is not Christlike: John 5:45
To condemn is not Christlike: John 3:17; 8:11.
To have respect of persons faith is not Godly: Jam 1.
To say Jesus is Lord is Ghost-ly, not Spirit-u-all: 1Cor12.
To say hurray come Lord Jesus is wanting vengeance: Lk 17;
But what it will bring is destruction back upon you: 1Thess 5:3.
Your Lord: Law, is against us, not with us: Col 2:14.
Your Lord: CJ, is mirrorly the reverse of JC: Mt 1-Rev 22.
Your Jesus, standing on high, is divisional, and vengeful.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Unity in religion will never come until after the second coming of Jesus. Then the one world universal religion will be a false religion not giving glory to the Lord, but to the antichrist.

I was attacked for asking why they pray to mary and the saints. Just wanted to know and I got all kinds of weird answers/statements. I am not against catholics either. I think most of them are wonderful people that mean well. I just question some of their rituals. I feel they are mislead by the fact that they believe the pope has so much spiritual power over men. What is the scripture in Galatians re: doctrines of men? I have always felt that ALL religions are false as they are legalistic, man made rules, rituals and regulations on how to worship God. Jesus Christ is the only way and the only "religion". Do you agree?

Don't get offended when people say that we are not saved , because we are not catholics. We know who we are. And God knows who we are. And that is really all that matters.

Anyone, regardless of "denominational label", who has been born again by the Spirit of God and who has embraced Jesus Christ by faith and repentance of their sins is presently saved and will remain so forever.
Solely for the glory of God!

Bless you Sister.
It's not about a religion or denomination !
It's about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
You're like me Against False religion & their teachings.
Anything that exalts It's self above the word of God Is false.
Why do people Label themselves with religious logos and deny the True teachings of Jesus Christ ?
Does their relgion mean more to them than being In right standing with God Himself ?
Unless you labor In the truth (the word of God and ALL It's teachings),you labor In vain.
