This was taking place in the course of the same meeting that Jesus had with his disciples...

1) Peter is asking Jesus where he is going... John 13:36

2) Thomas is asking Jesus where he is going... John 14:5

3) Jesus is complaining that nobody is asking where he is going!... John 16:5

Was Jesus so upset about having to die for the sinners that he couldn't keep track of the questions that he was asked... or was there an ulterior motive for such a lament? Can Christians follow this same example, especially in politics?

John 14:5 they are questioning that they do not know the way to where Jesus is going after Jesus told them they knew the way. It is obvious that in John 14:5 Jesus is telling them that they believed in the gospel of salvation, which is the way to heaven.
John 16:5 Jesus is actually telling them of His ascension into heaven, about which He asked them why they were not asking Him where He was going.
John 13:36 Judas had just left to betray Jesus and when Jesus told them that they could not go where He was going Peter asked Him where He was going.
All three incidents occur within different conversations. Of course we know that that does not make any difference to you, because you were not asking for the truth you were trying to cause confusion through your lie.
Jesus is returning to judge you and if you do not believe in Him you will have to pay for this lie. Give this serious thought because your whole future depends on your decision.
John 3:16   “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Christians say they are following his example, and many honestly think they are. However, I believe that Jesus was trying to give us a way of life and didn't want people to make him into a leader of a religion. However, what happened was that they created an organization, who wanted to lead people by control. They interpreted all of his wonderful messages and stories, the way they needed it to be.

By Jesus "complaining", (which of course he wasn/t because he never he complained ) he tried to point out to them that they wanted to know where he was going when it wasn't important and when his leaving was of uttermost importance, they weren't interested. In other words he was "frustrated" with their attitudes.

If everyone in the Christian Church would do everything GOOD that Jesus taught, and didn't concentrate on what has been taken out of context, then they could be called "Real Christians". There are many Christians who are loving, giving, non-judgemental, forgiving people. But then there are those who feel that their intrepretation is right and everybody else is wrong.

I don't feel that there will ever come a time where Politics would follow in the footsteps of great Masters, like Jesus, Buddha etc. they would have to be completely honest and not judge anyone. Can you see either party being that way.

Put it in context. Peter asks and Jesus says that Peter will betray Him. He then talks about where he is going and Thomas questions him bout it again. Again Jesus answers saying he is the Way the Truth and the Life. He then promises the Holy Spirit. He says he is leaving then states that NOW noone is asking where he is going, because they are full of grief.

Put it in present day. You say you are goin to leave your house for a long time and your family asks where you are going. You say they can't come with right now but they can later. They object that they can't follow unless they know where you are going. After spending day in and day out with them they should know by now where you are going and you tell them that. You then promise to send someone to comfort them and question why they are NO LONGER asking you where you are going.

Things are different in 16:5. The disciples had learned about denials, suffering, and death. To go with Jesus involved the most serious consequences.

No Jesus never lied.

Poor use of the English language, Jesus means to say:

"To where (whose place) are you going" or better yet "To whom are you going"?

The disciples were unclear that Jesus was referring to Heaven not Earth, and to God the Father.

christ and jesus represent two different things.. two different plans... christ are humans trying to follow the example of the ruler (human) of the catholic church... refered to as Satan.. or the devil... now the bible is written not fulfill prophecy but to destroy it..... that is why when the prophecy of Jesus is presented through the bible... His death is all they aim for... What is the prophecy of Jesus... the prophecy of a man who will give to humanity the information and knowlegde that will destroy the power religions have over the human race... and all the information destroyed by the catholics and christians over the years, retarding human evolution....

A Prophet, or a Messenger of God is representative of God to speak on behalf of God. He can never lie and says only what God tells him to say or authorizes him to say. It is always the followers who say or write themselves and say their own statements to be the statements of Messenger of God just to make people believe him.

If a Messenger or Prophet of God lies, the punishment from God for him is much more severe than God will punish any other man for telling the same lie.

When we Muslims negate a belief of Christian like Jesus being God, we know for fact that there is no God but one God and Jesus was Prophet of God. Because God says in Quran and clarifies that Jesus never said himself that he was the only son of God or that He was God.

Our belief and belief of Christians will be clarified when Jesus himself will return and will clarify himself what he is or was. Until then Christian can continue believing what they believe and Muslims will continue believing what they believed tolerating each other.

During Muslim Empire until 15th o 16th century Christians and Jews freely followed their religion and prospered under Muslim rule. Any one who says Christians or Jews were persecuted because of their religion or were forced to convert as Muslim are dam liars. Because God whom we believe forcefully prohibit Muslims against pressuring any one to accept Islam. God has given free will to all humans and He will accept only if one converts as Muslim on his Free will.

You should look into the book, "Quo Vadis?" which means "Where are you going?" in Latin. It's quite a famous quote that has always gotten a lot of scrutiny.

They do follow his example. Yet, amazingly, their religion is nothing like the religion he had.
