The worldwide flood that destroyed all life on earth except for Noah, his family, and the animals in the ark occurred in 4990 B.C. In 2 Peter 3 God refers back to this flood and then transitions to the destruction of the universe by fire. In verse 8 God says, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." This is interesting because God told Noah to get inside the ark 7 days before He brought the flood (Genesis 7:4).
In verse 8 of 2 Peter 3 we read that interesting Scripture. If we add 7000 to 4990 B.C. (1 day = 1000 years) we arrive at the year 2011 A.D. Is this the year Christ will return as the "Lion of the tribe of Judah" to rapture the saints, destroy the universe bringing judgment on the ungodly, and create a new Heaven and Earth?
Remember God told Abraham and Lot before He destroyed Sodom + Gomorrah.

The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.

Well, since a Global, massive earthquake Rev 8-5, will signal the beginning of the end...I would look for that...instead of a set date..God didn't set a date, but he did set a time....when certain things began to happen, we are to pay attention.
Read Matthew 24...there are the signs to look for..the world will be caught off guard,,but his children will not..
35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36But of that day and hour North no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Unbelievers will have no warning..It is also clear from his word that there will be no nuclear war....God says they will be eating, drinking, marrying until the day he comes back...

First Nostradamus, then followed successive forecasts of impending doom.We are told (it is written),that the last battle on earth will be fought at Armaggedon, this TEL,is,as you all know in Israel ,not far from Haifa. This ,i can believe, taking into account the continuing unrest and instability of that area of the planet.Should this event occur, the destruction of all life on Earth, would probably mean someone has detonated a neutron bomb, which kills all life and just leaves the buildings etc.Ergo>no life>no belief>no god.Hopefully ,i do not rest my case.

I believe that you can count on one thing: if someone puts a date on the Second Coming, it won't happen then. Jesus said that only God the Father knows the date of the last days. And I also believe that it is a waste of time to speculate. Worry about what you are doing today, with whatever time you have left. Remember, the end of days could come for you personally any time, the day you die.

No, the more people talk about it, the more likely it won't happen. Since Jesus left this earth people have been predicting when he would come back to the exact year. Maybe the year someone DOESN'T predict he will come back will be the year he DOES.
He will come back when least expected. And he's expected in 2011, so he obviously isn't coming back that year.

Mark 13:30-32:
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

I have to say tht Bishop Usher's calculations are questionable to say the least. Basing a prediction such as this on flawed data is erroneous and also depends on translations from the original which may also be incorect. Regrettably the bible was not written in english much as you may wish it was. Please go and try to scare someone else today.

Who ever says that arrival of Jesus will the end of world is totally wrong. World has not yet fully accepted the real religion of God and God Himself. He made this world and He will one day see that all human beings or a great majority of them will know the reality about God and will start worship Him only by their Free Will.
Since all Prophets of God already came and served their duty to God preaching God's religion to all humans on earth, now Jesus will return establish and enforce the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
Accoding to the Prophesy of Prophet Mohammad, Jesus will live 40 more years on earth and will die of natural causes. His mission will be to convince all humans on earth from his teachings that there is no God but the God (father) he used to call. He will confirm that he never said that he was only son of God or that He was God. He will announce himself to be a Muslim servant of God.
He will establish the Kingdom of Heaven. Which means people will accept God as a Soverieng King of the world and all rulers on earth will be God's Vice-Roys implementing Gods Laws. So it be Kingdom governed by the God who lives in Heavens through His vice Roys with the Laws of God that He wrote in Torah, Bible and Quran. The final laws in his last Ediction that is Quran will be implemented on entire people of earth.
Those who laugh and make fun of Islam and Muslims will have sorry faces and eyes down in shame when their beloved Jesus whom they call god will declare,
" I never said that I was son of God or God myself. What you believe were lies of others whom I don't even know".
What will you Christian do then? If Jesus says I am the God, we all Muslims will obey and believe him. We confidently say because we know Jesus will never say that He is God or only son of God.
