when doing a rep for maxiam muscle growth is it better to do the rep slowly or faster?

to stimulate hypertrophy in the muscle cell the working load should be around 80% of the 1RM and the optimum time under tension is 45-60 seconds. this usually equates to 8-10 reps per set

IF YOUR USING HEAVY WEIGHTS, JUST USE EXPLOSIVES MOVEMENTS, I ASSURE YOU YOURE NOT DOING THE REP AS FAST AS YOU THINK YOU ARE, IT FEELS YOUR DOING IT FAST, BUT BECAUSE OF THE HEAVY WEIGHTS, YOUR ACTUALLY NOT. DONT NEGLET THE NEGATIVE PART OF THE REP, (BRINGING THE WEIGHT BACK DOWN) THAT'S THE PART OF THE REP THAT BUILDS MORE MUSCLE. BE SURE YOU DON'T JUST DROP IT.

If your able to do it fast then the weight isn't heavy enough for you
