Because we live in a materialistic society, I can't stand it when I am half expected to do overtime and when I say no I egt told 'think of the money'.

My time with my partner is precious and I put a high price on it. Life is too short to waste it working too much.

Quality of life and working for money aren't mutually exclusive unfortunately. There are very few things we can do that don't cost money. Because of the way society has gone, we need to work for hours and commute ridiculous distances just to put bread on the table and a roof over our heads. You could of course opt out of the rat race but then you won't be able to afford to live anywhere or buy nice things. Basically we're on a treadmill, running like crazy and getting nowhere.

Because we live in rip off Britain and everything is so expensive so people gotta to work more hours sadly putting their health at risk, I know some people who are well off and still spend more time at work than at home which is very sad, some people are just plain greedy while others are not very well off and simply need the extra money to adequately provide for their families!
