I have an unopened bottle of mulled wine from xmas 06 is it safe to drink as it states drink within 6 months?

There is no date on bottle so whos to say it was fresh when bought, it is M&S aromatic mulled wine

I wouldn't worry too much. The manufacturers often give a 'use by' date in the event that the product deteriorates. I would just drink it.

If you had it stored in your refrigerator it's safe. If it was at room temperature toss it.
