Right, I got my hair cut and it's pretty short at the moment but I wanted highlights & for it to grow quite a bit..so I was wondering..if I got highlights done NOW would it look stupid after like a few weeks cos it will grow & surely the strands of hair which are highlighted will grow in their original colour on top, so it will be like BLONDEE-BROWNN? Thanks

no matter your hair length your high lights will have to re done since your hair is growing
just choose a natural color and it will blend in more between retouching of your highlights
i can go usually 4 mounths with out having to get my highlights redone and it looking tacky
it will look fine

NO THE STYLE RIGHT NOW IS SHORT WITH SOME HIGHLIGHTING--2-3 STRANDS ABOUT FINGER WIDE.
ALSO A TREND IS LETTING THE HIGHLIGHTS GROW OUT TO ABOUT TOP OF EAR OR SOME ARE COLORING ONLY FROM EAR TOP TO ABOUT 1" UP?? WHAT EVER FLOATS YOUR STYLE?

truly depends on how ur hair looks and who does it......go with what ur gut tells you to do....good luck....
