In the Holy Book Quran God Almighty the Creator of the Universe and Its Sustainer is called Allah and He has Numerous names. Let me place few for your reference and knowledge.
59:24. He is God Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
7:180. The most beautiful names belong to God Allah. so call on him by them; but shun such men as use profanity in his names: for what they do, they will soon be requited.
39:46 Say: “O God! Originator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of all that is beyond the reach of a created being’s perception, as well as of all that can be witnessed by a creature’s senses or mind
59:22. God Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
59:23. God Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah. (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.
37:5 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise!
2:247. God is infinite, all-knowing.
3:34. And God was all-hearing, all-knowing
2:260. And know that God is almighty, wise
1:1 In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace:
2:54. He alone is the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace.
2:235. and know, too, that God is much-forgiving, forbearing.
4:149. God is indeed an absolver of sins, infinite in His power.
7:54. Hallowed is God, the Sustainer of all the worlds!
11:90. for, verily, my Sustainer is a dispenser of grace, a fount of love!"
39:4. He is the One God, the One who holds absolute sway over all that exists!
33:25. that God is most powerful, almighty;
34:23. for He alone is exalted, great
58:2. God is indeed an absolver of sins, much-forgiving
17:110 Say: "Invoke God, or invoke the Most Gracious: by whichever name you invoke Him, [He is always the One-for] His are all the attributes of perfection. And [pray unto Him; yet] be not too loud in thy prayer nor speak it in too low a voice, but follow a way in-between;

Jehovah Neisce-Lord and Banner over Me
Jehovah Raha --The Shepard of His Sheep
Jehovah Shalom --The God of my Peace
Jehovah Sharma--The God who is always Present
Jehovah El Shadai --Hebrew He who gives more than enough; Also the 5 th letter of Hebrew spelled He,but is pronounced hay,breath of God;
God changed Abrm -------to Abraham when He made a Covenent with Him, also Sari to Sariah;
( 5 Prophets have this ah as first Leters of their Name- Example Isaiah -Jermiah ----Reading right to left as Jewish People do-------One other Note 4 Prophets have EL meaning God; example Joel-Daniel-Eze-Samuel, and last God the Great I Am

even the bible can't decide! he's reffered to as El and Elohim as well as Yawheh. the history of the jews did get mixed up with the phoenicians. while the jews weren't sailors, there's no record of the jewish exodus but [haorah did have records bragging about a victory over the sea people, which wouldnot have been the jews. the phonecians and other cannannite cultures were very similar to the jews!
PS the jews referto him as adonai in t heir prayers. this comes from the name of Adonis, who was a cannannite god and the only one who got transplanted to GREEK culture!!!!!

He's very coy about it, and has only allow people to refer to him as JHVH, which isn't his name at all.
So I reckon it's something embarrassing, like Snotbucket Finklestein.
