Wisdom can, but doesn't always. The more you understand, the more the lies and cheats and greed and all of that are noticeable. Yes, I can then avoid them better myself, but I see others manipulated and suckered all the time.
I just did a Power Point presentation on propaganda and brainwashing. Talk about knowing your enemy! But it is frightening how much mind control and manipulation is going on every day. And of course if you talk about it, they just say you're paranoid.
