But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Mark 13:17

It's not a woe, a primary exclamation of grief, to have a child. This is a blessing. So what's the true meaning of Mark 13:17? The answer lies with what Christ expects when he returns:

A virgin bride (no gender intended), spiritually speaking, of course. If the bride's with child when He returns, she's been unfaithful. Or you could say:

She's hopped in bed with antichrist (instead of Christ in the Greek), nourishing Satin's work along.

Well if I remember the context correctly it is talking about the last days. I don't know exactly what it means, but it doesn't sound good. Most of all, I think it is something that we don't need to be concerned about, since we don't know when that time is or what exactly it means, so we should focus of following Christ in ways in which can know we can do things.

He was talking about the destruction of the temple that occurred in 70AD by the Roman empire. It was a devastating event and many Jews had to flee the land, he was lamenting for the new mothers who had just given birth and had to try and run away from the pillaging and burning of Jerusalem.

It means that when the time of trouble happens it will be very hard for those that have dependents to flee from the wicked.

Didn't have time to look it up but I think it is referring to the time when Christ returns and all the babies will disappear. Praise the LORD.
