i used them and lost about a stone in 6 weeks. they are ok but i found i had to have carrot sticks and apple and stuff as well as i missed having something to chew. i used to buy the tin and make my own with skimmed milk as i also found the pre made ones in the can had a slight metallic taste to them.
good luck!

SlimFast shakes work as long as you exercise and follow a reduced-calorie diet overall. However, SlimFast fails to teach you healthy eating and what to do when you're tempted by less-than-healthy choices.

Most SlimFast shakes have 220 calories per shake, but they don't taste very good and they're not as healthy as, say, a salad drizzled with a little olive oil.

My grandmother used SlimFast and lost eighty pounds, then gained fifty pounds of it back once she got off. It's difficult to get on a shake because you'll miss chewing. You need to chew to feel satisfied. If you're going to use SlimFast as a kick start for weight loss while you learn about a healthier lifestyle, then fine, but I don't think SlimFast works long-term.

Yes they do work, they are taken in conjunction with soups and bars. Its a hard first 2 weeks while your body becomes accustomed to not eating but its OK after that. They have all the nutrients your body needs so after the initial headaches while your body rids itself of toxins its quite easy. The trouble is, when you try to eat properly again, if your not careful you appetite goes into overdrive so watch it!

No matter what kind of diet you follow, unless you deal with the underlying problem as to the reason why you must or feel the need to lose weight, it is a waste of space.

All diets only work for as long as you stick to the regime. A healthy mind OTOH often can pig out and still carry on not adding the pounds. If it is a physical problem, obviously, face the reality of what may be wrong.

Life styles and self-worth are the main reasons why we are overweight, eat comfort foods or feel the need to lose weight and starve ourselves to death.

Good luck.
