The Bible (God's Word) speaks for itself.
He speaks to me everyday through it and His creation.
We just need to be quiet sometimes and listen.

Because in primitive times, people had to come up with some system spiritually, to help them cope in a world, with little knowledge or technology. We decided to stop listening after a while, because we had an adequate belief system for the times, and it takes to much effort to get new inspiration from God. We love tradition and don't like change. We now live in a rapidly changing world, but we still are stuck, with the spiritual ideas from our primitive past. Science makes advances in knowledge and ideas, but religion is still stuck, in a do not change gear. God could be looked to, to inspire us to develop even better ideas spiritually, or to find the best sources of these ideas, whether from group or individuals.

The words in scriptures are eternal, its a message god left us.For example lets say you recorded something with a tape recorder. You play it one day,and then you don't play it the next day,you can't say your voice is inactive the day you didn't play it.

God is the Universe's creator, god is only inactive when we close ourselves away from him,and thats when you break the metephorical tape recorder, you reject religion, thats when god is inactive in you.

Today God speaks in a still small voice and there are few people who is open to hearing it. In addition the sin and abominations commited have become worse and worse. God has become less and less audible because of that. There will come a time when every knee will bow and tonugue confess and all will hear and believe.

In the OT God talked directly to his people, but since Jesus Christ was born, he was not only our Saviour, but now sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. That is why we must pray to Jesus and then when asking for things in prayer we also ask these things in the name of Jesus. It is by his strips that we receive healing, by his crown of thorns that we receive victory, and the giving up of his life for our Eternal Salvation and for this we are forever Thankful to Him.

Jesus is very active in my life. Everyday he does something for me. I thank him daily for all that he has done, all the he does do - both known and unknown by me, all that he will do. He is not quiet to those who earnestly seek him.

He had a Message to deliver. Unlike modern politicians, He knows when to stop. Now it is our privilege to pass on that Message.

Because Christ said "Blessed are those who believe and have NOT seen."

We have all the evidence we need. Now it's time for you to make a decision. If you seek additional "proof," remember Christ also said "It is a wicked and adulterous generation that seeks after signs and wonders. The only sign you will have is of the prophet Jonah."
