Who cares? Sin is a Christian concept, not valid with everyone.

I have no idea. I didn't even know it was a sin. But generally most conservative Christians will just say, "we cannot see all ends, and don't know what God knows, so if the Bible says that it is a sin we just have to trust that this is what God says and obey." or something like that.

Makes no sense to me though. And a while ago I'm sure people believed that it was a sin to french kiss, so there you go. Remember not even 60 years ago they wouldn't even show a woman being pregnant in movies or TV.

At the time the Bible was written, things like sex during menstruation, anal sex, and the like really weren't such a good idea. Disease, lack of hygiene/sanitation, etc. It was probably meant more as a health/safety thing than anything.

Now, it can be done with condoms, lubricants, and the like, so the safety hazard isn't as great as it was then (assuming those involved are disease free).

Homosexuality is what is considered a sin.

Anatomically, the anus is meant for excretion from the body, not insertion into the body. Whether it "feels good" or not is irrelevant. Scientifically, sodomy is abnormal. (I certainly don't see animals doing it.)

If you want your husband to screw you in the tush, that's your choice. But, if you're a gay man and you want another man to screw you in the tush, you're committing a sin.

Next time be intellectually honest.

Because it produces sexual gratification without the possibility of procreation. Raising families was very, very important to the Hebrews/Jews when the OT was written (and still is today to many, many Jews.)

It's considered part of the adultery category, since marriage is between a man and a woman, and two guys cannot technically be married and have it accepted by God, whatever they do while married is considered adultery. :(

Because a religion that permits it will lose out population-wise to a religion that only permits the kind of sex that might make a baby.

Because it's so good. Unless it happens in prison, then it totally isn't good.
