To really live a full childhood, do you think its neccesary to sneak things behinds parents back or do SOMETHING bad..To have the expierience? At SOME point in life, I think we all needed to when we were kids and your kids need to also. Any thoughts?

It may not make sense now that we're all grown, but when you see it through a kid's eyes, it makes sense.

Who said anything about sneaking into parties, Cat Lady? I mean, like a some point, ALL kids do things like, sneak cookies, or go outside when they're grounded, or something like, that. If you listen to parents 100% of the time, then you're really limiting yourself. I'm not talking about partiess, or grugs or anything like that.

What is each child's definition of "living a full childhood"?

Does this mean breaking the law? Or does it mean telling your folks you are at the library studying, when you are at a party?

Kids are supposed to obey their parents. This is because they have not lived long enough to make good choices on their own. They do not have the maturity.

Their parents are responsible for them and their actions. Their parents are there to guide them, set good examples and set limits gauged to the child's maturity level.

When a kid is 18, is time enough to have a few experiences.

Until then, sneaking around in the name of "having a full childhood", they could be ruining their life and the lives of others.

Believe me I don't always listen to my parents. I think kids need to disobey their parents so they learn from the mistake that almost all the time comes from the outcome. That way they learn not to do what happened again. Children need to make mistakes to build life skills.

Not really, but they do learn from it if the parents discipline them.
