Yes, that is a fine line. One must practice both reverential honor with paying one's bills. Sometimes all it take to pay one's obligations as regards bills is to strip away unnecessary expenses and live on what is needed for life rather than what is wanted.

I would take the better job, assuming you enjoy that job more or the same as the one you are at. Possibly you can make more time by giving up something else..like a tv show or some other time consuming activity that isn't really needed. You can save the extra money, which will let you retire earlier and you will have more time overall to devote to God

It is hard to know what to do, with so many temptations around us. If you feel that you get consumed by this job, and do not spend enough time with God, then perhaps you should not take the job. But, if you can find a way to still spend time with God and do the job, then take the job. It sounds as if your desires are not greedy, so that is good. Of course, you do not say with the old job was and what your new job is, so it is hard to be more specific.
What I can suggest, though, is to pray, and listen to the Spirit speak to you. If you feel confused and uncertain, the Spirit is telling you to not take the job. If you feel good about the job, then take it. The Spirit will answer you, if you seek him.

Gal 6:10 As we have therefore OPPORTUNITY, let us do good unto ALL, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
this includes yourself.
if you have opportunity to do good for yourself, do it.
if doing good for yourself means spending hours daily in worship, i guess that's what you should do.(i really hate saying this because i believe christ is a false god/golden calf)
if you believe doing good for yourself means creating a savings account so that you can retire rather than working until you have no choice but to go into an old folk's home, then maybe that's what you should do.
it's all in your perspective. but remember that God does not want you to neglect yourself.

It sounds like you are being tempted by more money and need someone to justify it.
Do what you are comfortable with. Trust God to let you know what is best and take care of your needs. There is nothing wrong with making more money but if it steals from God, He won't like it. Don't promise to increase your tithe and offering to Him. That doesn't work. He doesn't need the money.

Whether a christian or not. Sometimes money isn't everything. Especially when it comes to a job.

I would go with your inner voice. What is it telling you to do? and how do you feel about it. If your inner voice tells you to stay where you are, what do you feel? If it tells you to move on. What do you feel? If you're praying to God, He will help you decide what to do. He will be your inner voice. Listen to Him. And have FAITH that He will guide you to do what's best for you.
Since you say you don't have peace. You seem to have answered your own question.
