Let's say some hooligans raided the church and stole all the Communion wine. The church is in the middle of nowhere, there's no time to drive all the way to another church, or to a wine store to buy replacement communion wine. No one has wine to donate, but someone does have malt liquor.

Under those circumstances, could Malt Liquor be used in the Communion? Or would the priest just use something non-alcoholic like O'Douls Beer?

Ok, so I got a lot of Nos. So what happens then? No Communion? Isn't that a little extreme?

No wine would be consumed, only the Eucharist (hosts). Communion is considered whole (both body and blood) with just the Eucharist or just the wine.

In Communion Service (where no priest is available) that fulfill your Sunday Eucharistic obligation no wine is used only preconsecrated Eucharists.
