I would, I bought a tv and a dvd player and for some reason b oth had a problem (at seperate times) I was really glad I had purchased the extended warranty. It's kind of like paying for health and car insurance. Hopefully, you won't need it but you'll be glad if you have it.

I have the 60GB PS3, and I haven't had any problems with mine since I bought it back in December last year, so I don't think that you will need the warranty.

But if you want to be safe and make sure that the PS3 is covered just in case something happens to it get the extended warranty, but like I said, I doubt that you will need it though.

no not really but if you have the extra cash then go right ahead even though it has only a 0.02% of failure rate but you can never be too safe.
