I gave my friend a bottle of Sally Hensen diamond clear fingernail polish. Her figernail split?

when she applied it. Is that possible? I tried to tell her it would be impossible.

I don't think the Sally Hansen nail polish had anything to do with the nail split. Something else caused her nail to split.
