I am underage and am going to see a counsiler and was woundering what can my counsiler legaly tell my parents about me? I don't want my parents knowing whats going on in my life because they are very concerned right now at me just going to a counsiler.

There is a law about confidentiality, so what you say to the counselor IS between you and him/her. He/she cannot breach that confidentiality unless in the case of anything that can be of an endangerment to you or somebody else.

They need to know so they can help.The counselor will tell them what THEY need to do to help.They arent trying to gang up on you, they just want to make things BETTER.

make it clear to your counsilor that you are worried about this. legally the counsilor cant tell your parents what you talk about. even if you were of age they still cant. its private. they can tell your parents that maybe your parents need to talk to you about whats going on in your life, but they cant descuss what you two talk about

what you say to your counselor is very confidential. They are not allowed to say anything.

they shouldnt be able to tell them anything unless your indangering yourself or tohers but even that they shouldnt. its confindentuality. but unless your parents assigned them. im not sure then.

first of all your counselor will say that your spelling is horrible.
