because the ones i know and work with, spend very little money. they buy the cheapest food , they share rooms and buy clothes from primark. they dont tax their cars in uk. this is a fact. they have told me what they do. and they send every spare penny that they earn back to their polish banks. is this good for uk?

Its rubbish that they contribute to the economy
-they steal british jobs
-they steal british housing
-they drain an already inadequate health and welfare system
-they send their money home
-they are mostly on scams, thats why they came here
-they dont blen in with the culture, many wont speak english
-thye majority are developing underground mafia economies, gangs and drug and prostitution pushing
the only reason this labour government is protecting this whole affair is for future votes.

They do add to the UK economy as they add to the Irish economy. There is a gap of semi-skilled to unskilled workers in both countries. They also pay income taxes and feed into a welfare system they are unlikely to benefit from. So they are good for your economy, just as Irish immigrants were good for the UK economy in the 60s and 70s when there was a shortfall in the amount of construction needed and the availability of an adequate labour supply.

I worked in South Africa for 19 years and bought a house for cash in the UK with money that I sent back.

By the way Dale natty is correct Indians are responsible for 14% more wealth to our economy than White British.
and they are not all muslim.

Natty, most asians are muslims and according to the ONS government website muslims are the most sponging, uneducated, unskilled, unemployed group in the UK.
Sound like there must be a couple that earn alot - oh yes that Mittal guy who runs a business in India not the UK.

If you are a business owner they are very good as they are willing to work for peanuts and help you keep your wage bill down. Plus you have a permanent ready pool of hard working people wanting jobs so you don't have to worry about training or valuing your staff.
If you are middle class they provide you with cheap cleaners and nannies and the like.
If you are a poor working class person they make life very difficult as they just add to the competition for work. They drive wages down by creating a large pool of available labour, which means employers don't have to value their employees as they are easily replaceable.
I don't see they benefit anyone other than the businessmen and middle classes. Which is who the Government are aiming their policies at.

Immigrants are not good for UK.Immigrants come due to higher wage rates in UK and local people are not prepared to take up certain jobs like nurses,service sector etc.UK economy has become high cost economy and goods produced by UK not competitive in international market.A general reduction wage rate and people becoming prepared to do any type of work(that now immigrants only do) are required to save UK.

Do British immigrants working in Nigeria and other places not send their money back to Britain. they sure do so what is wrong with that as for buying cheap food why should they not. how many British people really shop in the more expensive shops after all. you seem also to think all of the immigrants are doing just that. are you forgetting that the majority of Rich people living in Britain are immigrants.

It depends - we have a lot of truck drivers and bus drivers. Some qualified artisans like plumbers. But we really need to recruit graduates and doctors from the EU. A French doctor I talked to was brilliant. I could understand what he said too. Some doctors we get from very poor countries appear to have gained their doctorates using correspondence courses. They have been here years and are still money grabbing vultures.
