I was going to get a hypro allerganic cat, but it is way to much!
Allergies to cats vary from the person and the cat. I am allergic and yet i have 4 cats. You just have to test a cat you like, and see if you are allergic. That is all there is to it. Hairless cats are not the answer. People are usalley allergic to the spit of the cat. not the Hair. They lick themself and that gets there spit onto them.

It's a scam.
If you do more research than just reading their website, you will learn that their claims have never been proven in an independent labratory.
Read the website.
They tell you that the kittens are hard to come by because of a long waiting list. BUT!!
If you want to pay $3000-$5000 extra, they can give you a "reserved" kitten. How do they know how many kittens to "reserve"? How do they miraculously have a kitten for everyone who pays the additional fee?
That makes no sense.
Maybe some allergic people won't react to these cats. But that's true of every cat. Every cat is different, and every person with allergies is different. You can't predict (or breed) a hypo allergenic cat.

There is no true hypo-allergenic cat. Even the so called hairless sphynx. They have short fuzzies for fur. Also people are alergic to cats skin, not hair. And some are alergic to cat saliva..not the dander of the cats skin.
I have never heard of a bengal being hypo-allergenic. I guess if one had that much money to spend on a cat...it is their business.

I get asthma from cats and all animals, does not stop me. There are products one can use on the cat and oneself to counter that very effectively. It's the dander that causes the problem.
There is no cat that will never affect someone with allergies or reactions to dander. Not sure about the Bengal but try the Maine Coon. FAR cheaper too.

Allerca is a scam so forget that.
Bengals are not hypoallergenic so forget them.
The hypoallergenic cat breeds are LaPerm, Cornish Rex, Devon Rex and Sphynx.
These are all hypoallergenic but they are not nonallergenic. That means they cause fewer allergic reactions or less intense ones, but not that they cause none.
Many people with mild cat allergies adjest or find that a few simple houserules can make things OK.

Had a Bengal, and aside from that fact that is was a down-right aggressive cat, it was NOT hypoallergenic.
I have a Devon Rex, and I have no reaction to him, but I am sure there is someone that would.
