Ignore them. Bunch of Jodys!
There are some older gentlemen and ladies who did serve on here though....but the military is always changing things so over time one thing isnt the same as it was back then.
And sometimes it's just nice to put your two cents in.
I'm a Marines wife and I'll comment on things that I know about...but I wouldn't comment on let's say...somebody talking about what to bring to boot camp or how to go about getting dog tags.
It's the internet, people with no lives like to pretend that they have one....or had one.

Cause people want to be able to belong to someone cool, so why not be a SEAL, Ranger, Marine. But they can never be so they stroke their ego by thinking civilians will think they are cool. I read online the other night about some shbag soldier who was busted for wearing or tellin lies about him wearing a MOH he also had a bronze star and a few others. Then when i was in Oki this Navy Capt had the ribbon chart on his chest and he got busted because he was in DC being made an Honorary Marine and this other guy who was gettin the title was like this dont add up so he investigated it and dimed him out.

As long as there are sites like Yahoo Answers, there will be people that use the site for their own personal gratification.
Some people brag about miltary experience, some brag about sports prowess, some about money, but it all boils down to the same thing: Some people just like to make themselves look more important than they really are.
They need to remember: God knows what you did or did not do.

Well that'd be bad beceause I'm trying to get advice about the US military and how likely it is to die, and I'm basing my MOS off of what these people are saying to me.
I was kinda suspicious that some of the answers were based on statistics I found on the first page of google. But some people seemed to be talking out of experience.

I actually used it once to bust someone local who was claiming all kinds of things. Otherwise, as suggested just ignore them. People come on here and they become a different personality, because it's slim they'll be busted---that's why a lot of people act so tough.
I answer truthfully, and pretty much only question I have a legit answer for.
Oh, and thank you for serving our country!!!

We should feel sorry for them for not having the balls to join the military and contribute something to our country. Lies always get exposed one way or another. Let lying dawg lie...

Little kids , even if they're adults playing make believe. Fantasy life , probably couldn't qualify for the military if they tried. Best to ignore them.

Nothing, if their lives are so lame that all they have to do is ask stupid questions, and live in fantasy land, just let em' rant and rave, they'll eventually tire out and go back down in mom's basement, smoke crack, suck c*ck's, and play video games.
