well thats because there used to be a ton of poor people and only a bit of the rich. If you had food, you were doing pretty good.

As a very obese 620 pound man who is very happy and has put on 400 pounds in the last nine years, I don't agree with the junk food comment. In my gaining, I avoided junk food (OK other than doughnuts, cookies and ice cream) and always ate good food usually at all you can eat places. I love to eat and always eat a lot - mostly eating until I am very full and stuffed. For me, the obesity is due only to my choice to get very fat again and be happy like when I was in high school and over 450.

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at http://www.thin-quick.us where they have a free trial and you only pay $6.95 shipping and handling.
Good luck!
