If your old enough to lay down and make that baby then your old enough to be responsible for it. I am not sure but I no in Michigan parents are responsible for there children's actions until they 18. Personally you are now a parent and need to step and be the best one you can be and hopefully you now no to use protection in the future. Besides child support isn't a debt it is to help take care of a life you helped bring into this world.

They can still get a job and pay something. There are part time jobs out there for ages 15 and up. Mc Donald's will hire at 15. The one I work at hired a girl when she was about 4 months along and she is 15. No reason the dad can't work after school. If my son was to get someone pregnant when he was older I would make him get a job and support his baby.

Yes if someone under 18 gets a girl pregnant they have to pay child support. Or their parents do if the kid won't take responsibility for his actions.

I am not sure- but in my state (PA) I know Children & Youth get involved and consider it Child Abuse when the mother is 14. It can become a messy deal for everyone (both sets of grandparents) I did some reasearch & will refer a page to look up your state- Good chance if the father is just a high school student you can't. I am not a lawyer.

You can sue them for child support in some states, in other states you have to sue their parents (because they are a minor).

yes, but i think the parents of the minor would be held responsible until they turn 18, but of course you can, the child still needs things no matter how old the dad is

you will could confirm paternity, on an identical time you're under the age of consent and that i'm uncertain approximately each state yet he would additionally be under the age of consent meaning he and in all probability the two considered one of you're in jeapardy of statutory rape -- a criminal offense. If he's unwilling to declare paternity then you certainly would opt for a courtroom order to compel DNA sorting out which isn't an computerized component based on your say so he has rights and avenues to combat that commencing with claiming he in no way had intercourse. you should use the statutory rape regulation as leverage to get him to admit paternity with a view to sidestep a rape study and criminal rates yet additionally to in trouble-free terms getting me to admit paternity at start and sign a start certificates you additionally should get him to voluntarily take a DNA try (in case you're helpful he's the daddy) so as that he can no longer decrease back out of duty later by way of claiming he replaced right into a minor whilst he admited paternity did it out of a faux sense of affection and did no longer are conscious of it coming up an entire new set of criminal subject concerns later. as quickly as his paternity to the baby is legally general then he's legally in charge to grant finacial help for the baby till the baby reaches 18. whether, the formula for baby help varies from state to state yet in many cases the incontrovertible fact that he has little to no earnings now potential he wont could pay lots baby help and you will could pass decrease back to courtroom via fact the years progression to get the help better as his earnings will develop over the subsequent 18 years. some states enable for the mothers and dads of a minor to be obligated to pay baby help on behalf the minor parent till he reaches 18 or in all probability 21. returned, if his mothers and dads dont have lots earnings it wont be lots. in the event that they do have earnings and are resonable in charge mothers and dads who desire to guard their son from available criminal prosecution they are going to in all probability conform to sensible help demands without taking the case previously a decide. applicable now that's good to look for suggestion from a criminal expert, touch a woman's advocacy group or maybe a women human beings's hospital and that they are going to in all probability propose you greater wisely on your rights under the regulation the place you reside and grant you touch information for attorneys who concentrate on such cases or maybe ones which will paintings on your behalf for unfastened or at expenditures you're able to have the money for.

I don't know the legal answer, but I think if you're old enough to make a baby you are old enough to pay support.
