*Gasp* You're making sense again! How dare you!
I don't believe it negates the existance of other gods at all. In fact, it's plainly put that he is only the God of the Jews in the Bible and when it comes to "Gentiles" he talks about being their God only when they live among the Jews AND convert to their religion. All Gods are cultural. That doesn't mean one has to be a Jew to follow the Biblical God, but there's nothing in the Old Test that leads me to believe that he was God over everyone... because he wasn't.

From the Christian perspective, YES, otherwise you aren't really a Christian, are ya?
The idea of shunning others and judging and condemning them to Hell is also out of the question. The Christian Bible says don't judge others and also that we don't know who will or won't go to hell... That is for God to decide, not man.
I really like learning about other religions because it is something that interests me, and all history does. I am in no way interested in changing my beliefs, I have my personal proof and I can't see any other way to believe... but there is absolutely no call for insulting others...
Altho I do feel "eye for and eye" can be justified in a way.
In the Bible, Where it says not to worship other Gods, it isn't literal... these are false Gods, made up Gods, devil worshiping (with or without knowing), and idol worshiping (or puting material things before your relationship with God... making other things or people more important in your life than the relationship you have with God). That is from the Christian perspective.

I was just thinking this today. I was going to ask something similar. Thanks for asking. Yes - go read about Haggar. She calls him the God who sees. Because she saw him and lived to talk about it. That is the Muslim God. Moses God - you cannot look at Him - anyone who does does not live to talk about it. Go read about that too - in Exodus - Moses asks can I see you and God puts him between a rock and covers moses until he passes by. Moses is only allowed to see God's back. I think the world is run by different angels claiming to be God. Except Jesus - he knows the true God. And I think the Melchizedek does too. "The most high God." I am still reading around to see this but yes, I do think you are on to something.

There are many gods, that people worship....but they are all manmade gods,,,the real God,,,,is a lving God..God is Spirit....and those who worship him, must worship him in spirit and truth..
Worshipping God "in spirit" means with reverence, attentiveness, and having the right purpose of honoring God, while understanding what we are doing. Hebrews 12:28-29 says, "Let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire." Our worship must glorify God. 1 Corinthians 6:20 says, "For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
Since His word is truth, we must worship Him according to His word. Here the Lord is telling us that everything we do in worship, we must have God's divine approval. Truth is not arbitrary. Truth for one person is the same as truth for the next. God has not spoken in unclear ways.

Yes. True Christian believes in Trinity. There is only one true God. There is no other gods.
People tend to believe there are other gods, God wanted us to concentrate what is truth and not on falsehood. Falsehood cannot carry out any promises.

The scriptures always acknowledge that others worship other gods but show that they are false. So yes there are other gods, but no they are not real except in the imagination of men's minds.

Other true gods are definitely out of the question.
Other false gods definitely are part of the question.
The One True God of Heaven is a God among many other false gods.

"God is a jealous god". No joke. Theoretically, the answer is no, but look at the doctrine of most religions, it all has the same goal, its just a matter fi figuring out what kind fo entity you put the faith in.
