I dont fast as in the correct way but during Lent I do give up things that make me realise how lucky I am.
In a world of so much so many have little. We are blessed, and should remember that

No, God Made Known That OBEDIENCE (To The Word) Is Better Than Sacrifice. Putting Aside Things That Is Pleasant And Wrong Like Fornication, Adultery, Lies, Etc. In A Sense Is Fasting Or Doing Without Those Pleasurable Things. Obediance Is Better Than All Of The Fasting Of Food And At The Same Time Being A Sinner. Those Sins Will Not Cleanse The Body, No Matter How Long Of A Fast Purification You Put Yourself Through. Obeying The Bible Is The HARDEST Fast Of All, Because Killing The Flesh (Lust Of The Eyes, Lust Of The Body, Etc) Is Painful Purification Process That Yields Pure Results.

I used to fast for 24 hours at least once a month, for religious reasons. But medical reasons have forced me to stop doing it.

Yes! I fast for a sense of spiritual cleansing, and also health reasons. It is ok to clean oneself out every now and again because alot of the things we eat have fats and sugars in it that are hard to get out of the system while you are continuously eating it! hence constipation, fecal impaction, bladder problems and the like so I think that it is just helpful in every sense of the word! To fast is to regenerate every now and again!!!

I fast on Wednesdays to stay mindful of the people who don't eat everyday, for them it's not by choice.
It's a personal decision, I can't starve when I have such abundance. But for 24 hours I am hypersensitive to the conditions of those people who have little or nothing
Some people pray, I donate food to the local food bank, dedicate a portion of my garden to those who have less than me and I make it a point to never forget them, this how I do it.

Sometimes I fast on Mondays after a weekend of debauchery and overindulgence. It cleanses and detoxifies.

No ..
it is pointless .. why make myself hungry ? Its not the point to stop eating .. but to eat better. And You can still eat as realize how fortunate you are to have hot meals everyday .. a roof over my head and a warm bed to sleep in. I dont need to starve myself to realize this.
and to comment on His4life .. Its not going to help those who dont have food ... if you also dont eat..
thats ridiculous
what would help is if you donated food
