You don't have to have the ticket with you, but you need to show up on that date or they will be looking for you and is makes it worse to have a warrant.

You can call up juvenile court and tell them you've misplaced the ticket. They'll tell you when and where to show up.

They prefer you show up with your ticket, because it makes it easier for the clerks to find you in the system. However, it's no big deal, losing a piece of paper. What they REALLY care about is that you present your *b*u*t*t* at juvenile court, so that they can tear you a new hole in it.

Be sure to bring your parents. Nicely dressed parents who appear to be both polite and concerned will go a LONG way to minimizing your punishment.

Not taking care of the ticket says to the judge that you don't give a #^%*! He can increase the penalty. Furthermore, if you get in trouble again, it could cause your bail to be increased. Take care of it! It won't go away. Ever hear of computers?

in the US, the judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest. When they find you, they will arrest you. Then you can do what you should have done in the first place, appear before the juvenile court.

Show up, or risk being sent to correctional school by an angry judge after they arrest you for being a no show.
