First of all Congratulations to you from the bottom of my heart for choosing the best religion that Allah will accept amongst all other religion as He says in Quran in Surah 3, Ayah 19

Decidedly the religion with Allah is Islam (3:19)

Also read Surah 3 Ayah 85

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, then never will it be accepted from him, and he will in the future be of the losers (3:85)

Answer your question, Yes you should have your son circumsised. It is not sin to delay. Just get it done when you can convenient to you. It is mainly for the genital health of men. Teach your son how to wash his gental with water when he urinate so he is always clean. Urine drops in the area is unhealthy and unclean and Salat is not acceptable to Allah in that state of uncleanliness.

Muslim women are commanded in Quran to cover their hair completely and their body. Since it is the command of Allah, observing Hijab sooner the better.
My own daughters have told me many times that afte they started wearing Hijab, Muslims as well as Non-Muslims treated them with more respect than ever before. Most of the boys wouldn't use bad or slang words amongst themselves too, when they see Muslim Girl with Hijab near by.
This is blessing of Allah for the Muslims women practicing their religion to the best possible way.

she probably doesn't see you that way and she's probably just still taking it in and like you said the distance is killer between the two of you but still an hour is whatever if you do like her you shouldn't complain about the distance to go see her. Try and talk with her over the phone and see what she says, maybe you can gauge better through how she sounds while she's talking with you.

Because you will more then likely raise your son to be a Muslim then you should consider seeking out a Muslim Doctor to perform or direct you about him being circumcised. No, you do not have to wear a scarf right away but you should dress with modesty(hijab). It is more liked if you do wear a scarf. You just did the Shahada so just try to learn as much as you can and follow the ways of Prophet Mohammed(SAW) the best you can.

If you have converted to Islam you should try not to come on Yahoo Answers, these people sometimes do not know what they are saying and give false information, maybe they are just trying to earn points or show Islam in a different way. My advice to you Sister is read the Quran and try to learn Arabic even if you find Arabic hard Allah(SWT) will reward you because of this and Inshallah you will learn arabic. Go to Islamway.com , islamonline.com, islamweb.com and look up lectures by Ahmed Deedat and Mohammed Hassan...
For your son, if you raise your son, you should teach him about Islam because he will be a Muslim Inshallah...It is your duty to make sure he knows accurate information and Allah(SWT) will reward you for your self or your son because your son will be like your path to heaven Inshallah. Congrats and Allah(SWT) bless you...

Sister it is more important to learn to pray and learn what Islam says first. If you wear the scarf and dont know how to pray this is worse. Learning to pray is THE MOST IMPORTANT. I would discuss the circumcision with your local Imam or Sheikh.

Masha Allah sister what a wonderful day for you and all of us. Yes of course you can get your son circumcised and you can wear a headscarf right away if you feel ready too. Insha Allah your knowledge grows steadily and strongly. Allikum Salam.

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu

Welcome to Al Deen Ul Haq (Way of the Truth). I'm sure that when you took shahada that you have a clean slate. You're like a new born baby. Insha Allah, you will keep it that way for your own sake. Try your best and always refer to Allah Subhanuhu Wa Ta'ala and his Messenger Sal Allahu Alaihi Wa Salaam
.
While there are some who will say you should or shouldn't please remember, Allah instructs women to cover themselves. It's not limited to the women, but the women do have more to cover than men. Covering is based on your Taqwa (fear of Allah) and that fear should be only of him, not what others (muslim or non-muslim) will say.

Those who say it isn't necessary to cover are misguided, and not covering IS disobeying Allah and his prophet. This standpoint is from their own desire to conform to society, not to Islam.

So please understand that you must do what Allah and His Messenger say for Allah is the best of knowers and Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihi Wa Salaam never made a ruling in Islam of his own thoughts or desires. It was always from Wahi (revelation).

As far as circumcising, ask the Imam or someone more knowledgeable. As my parents were traditional Jamaicans, I was spared having to do this for myself as an adult.

Congratulations and welcome to Islam. I would speak to an Imam about the circumcision. In many cultures they do it at even an older age.

Wear hijab when you are ready!

Many blessings to you inshaallah.
