Church is not a commandment..There are many Christians who do not go to church every Sunday. Some people must work in order to feed thier children...Some may be doing good works....like helping a neighbor...Some are sick, like me and just can't make it.

,,,But I am getting much, much better,,,,,since I started concentrating on praying for others and thanking God.The doctors say no cure...that's not what God says.... I just gave you a key to healing there..to those who need it....took me long enough to figure it out...I'm a slow learner..

Church is not a building. Church is the people, the gathering, in the Name of the Lord, to hear the Word of God and give fellowship to one another on the journey. It could be in a living room. It could be in an auditorium. It could even be in cyberspace, right here.
Personally, I find the Bible study questions and disucssion here on YA much more apt and to the point than what I've heard in most sermons.

hey agnostic boy aka person who doubts truth of religion, why are you in this section of yahoo answers in the first place instead of asking people that stupid question?

and by the way, a few points you need to consider:

-not everyone who argues on here are christians/catholics.
-DIFFERENT TIME ZONES OMG.
-are you 'agnostic' only because of christianity? you're supposed to doubt all religions, so get real, maybe change your name to anti-christians or something like that k?
-brain transplant

that's all, good day! hehe :)

Some of us go during the week and also it depends on your work schedule. While I would like to go every Sunday, sometimes you can not make it. Do you go to church?

You have to remember, people are in different time zones. And not everyone goes to church in the first place.

My wife is in church, and it's a freakin waste of time. How can adults believe that stuff? And what's with all that praise to Jesus? You'd think he had a serious ego problem....

Those of us in different time zones were out of church before you were out of bed.
