Just saunter up and ask what time it is, then if he has a wath on, say "Oh I like your watch!" Stuff like that breaks the ice, and then you can say stuff like, I've seen you around school, but whats your name? Do you play any sports? And then, after about a month of just saying hi and chatting in the cafeteria, then plan an event with friends and ask if he wants to come! Good luck, I hope this helps!

1) Notice any jewelry he has on & ask where he got it.
2) If he's reading a book or magazine, ask how he likes it.
3) If he has photos on his binder, ask how he met the person or likes the person.
4) If he gives an answer in class, compliment him afterward for his idea.
5) Ask him for help with a difficult question you ran into in your reading or studying.
6) Ask if he's seen a movie or video just out.
7) Ask how he likes a certain sports team.
8) If they announce about a certain school rule, ask how he feels about that rule.

It's all about the icebreaker.
Laughing at a funny thing you both see or reading the same book or listening to the same song on your iPod. That sort of thing makes it alot easier to start a conversation where you can start flashing the 'I like you' signals of playing with your hair and smiling while looking into his eyes.

No conversational opener required. Most if not all of us males like having girls talking to us. A slightly better way to start the conversation would be to start discussing an upcoming event or compliment the other persons skills.

Good ? Just start the conversation with a "hi, my name is..." Or if he already knows your name just say, "hi". You could ask him what classes he's taking. He might need a tutor or could tutor you. If you like sports ask him what teams he likes. Sports are usually a sure thing with guys.

you could ask him how is weekend went and what did he do or you could ask him about movies or latest c.d.s or something like that. if theres anything going on after school you could ask him if he's going. good luck
