No they don't nasalise! Watch the news and learn to speak like a newsreader - that is standard English. In different regions of England people have different accents. Even the Queen's English is no longer popular. Go for standard English - as used by newsreaders.

It's very difficult for anyone past childhood to change their native pronunciation. In America there are dozens of American "accents" and all (or most) are considered acceptable. It's the same in the UK. There are many different so-called accents. However, if it's possible, spend some time in England and concentrate on the way people in the region you're visiting speak and imitate them. Still, I feel that it probably won't work 100%.

It's a wrong impression, the french language is the most widely known language that's "nasal" based. If you want to get a british accent rent or buy movies where british english is used.
and just for future knowledge the British accent is considered as a lack of an accent.

I see that you don't know much about the UK accents. There's a different accent about every 50 kms, some nasal - Liverpool, where they haven't blown their noses for twenty years - some not - North Yorkshire, Highland Scotch, South Wales.
I don't think anybody anywhere "nasalyzes" when they speak.

Jerry Blunt sells books and tapes for one to follow to learn how to speak english with any accent. One tape he sells is for speaking with a british accent. Just put his name in the search box, and you will get all the information from his web site. I can vouch for it because I bought it and can do real well, having chosen russian and german accidents to imitate

Aussies speak through their noses and brits speak right at the front of their mouths.
You could get a voice coach.....
