At the moment British registration numbers change every six months to coincide with the year e.g 2007 plates are something like PX07 & PX57 next year obviously PX08 & PX58 but what will the numbers look like when we reach 2010

2010 will be AB10ABC and AB60ABC

The answer to the question is they will be 60 and 10 unless the goverment changes the registration system again before this point.

According to this the 5 is going to change to a 6 so I reckon it's going to be something like this ... eg
FA10 AAA and FA60 AAA in 2010 then FA11 AAA and FA61 AAA in 2011. Then it's going to change to 7 in 2020. That's what I understand from this link.

or maybe 10 then 60 then 11 then 61 then 12 then 62 and so on

When we reach 2010 wont it just keep going to PX10 PX60? the only problem is when we reach 2060. I which case I wont be driving by then!!!
