Empty carbs are carbs that have no nutritional value. sugar is the obvious one.

Are you talking about things you can eat and not add calories?Then you are taking about Lettuce,celery,almost anything Green.If it is green you can eat it except for Avacodo.Carrots are good too.I wouldn't call anything with sugar in it empty???
