48 hours. Make sure you get the Frontline on the skin, not the fur. Don't bathe again until 48 hours have passed after application.

EDIT: If cazilyhappy is really an AKC registered groomer, her answer is shocking!! Frontline moves through the skin VIA the natural oils of the body - if you've washed them off, of course it can't work! Frontline is not 'absorbed', it has no systemic action - it spreads, not absorbs.

Wait at least 48 hours before applying any spot on treatments the coat needs to replenish some natural oils back into the skin. Call your vet and they can verify it.

Wait at least 2 days after bathing to apply flea treatment. After treating for fleas, wait at least 2 days to bathe your dog.

We regularly propose 5 days, yet once you sweep the puppy nicely (Frontline spreads on the oil interior the fur, so which you prefer to distribute the oil) i think of three days is long sufficient.

When he is fairly dry you can use those products. I also believe that frontline can still be effective if you wash your dog later since it is absorbed into the skin.

It doesn't matter when you give it to your dog, so long as your pup is dry. It doesn't matter if you've stripped the coat of natural oils, it will actually help your dogs skin to absorb the treatment better.
