I get my check direct deposited, my employer does not give me a check stub, for awhile they did & then stopped, I have asked quite a few times with no results. Do you think there's something going on with them? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks everyone

I am an employee, have been with this company almost 1 year. They do not have a corporate office, they do their own payroll etc.

Contact your state labor board. Employers are required to give you a check stub or deposit confirmation that lists all wages paid and funds withheld from your pay each pay period. Most employers include year-to-date totals but those are not mandatory in many states.

I work for a company that uses a contracted payroll service and gives employees direct deposit, too. They do not supply check stubs or paperwork, but they do provide online access to the payroll company's website where I can access my pay statement (and print it if I want). I can also access the payroll company website and print my pay statement from my home computer.
Has the company you work for provided this kind of access in place of the paper stubs?

Well, I'm not really sure you have options unless there is a Corporate Office. If so, call them and the payroll office might be able to help. Chances are if you get paid thru an off sight service, which many businesses use, you may have to call them direct or ask your payroll clerk to get you a copy of the print out record they get. They can usually run a copy and cut off everyone else's information.

If you are a employee and not contracted what they are doing is illegal. If you get nowhere by going to them contact the state. By law you must recieve a pay stub if you are a legal employee and especially if you are paying taxes. If you are being paid under the table you will just have to suck it up.

Are you in fact an employee or is your relationship that of a contractor?
