If poverty is a punishment from God then surely he must have hated his "only begotten Son" who preached a gospel of poverty.....Such as (to paraphrase) "the first will be last and the last first".... and what about "a camel walking through the eye of a needle"?......please read the books!!.......

no ! I think they can be more like an examination! god examines people in different ways and poverty is not the worst one! if poverty was really a punishment why would god insist in his religions that we must help the poor!

No. Poverty is not a punishment from God. God never wanted us to live in poverty. It is Satan’s doing. God wants us to live in prosperity. Therefore, pray, trust, work hard and seek God. Have faith like a mustard seed. And all you have to do is to try your best and let God do the rest.

No, because many people choose to live that way and then cast the blame on God, society, their race, their lack of education and all the other excuses. This is not true of everyone living in poverty but for many people it is true.

NO, poverty, in accordance to me, isn't from god. it rather is by using men themselves. little ones could desire to pass hungry because of the fact their guardians/mothers and fathers are often illiterate and don't earn something. besides the fact that if, that's no longer constantly the parent;s fault. that's regularly success. some human beings, in spite of being very magnificent and nicely-knowledgeable, don't get solid jobs in international places in Asia, or everywhere else. some mothers and fathers have undesirable success, they regularly get cheated on or get sued without a reason...and then they have no money!!!
