ok i went out shooting for the first time yesterday and my instructor said i have inceadable talent and said i should get a rifle. that brings me to this question he said i should get an old 22 milatary training rifle and i need to know where to get one of those those

Military Training Rifles haven't been made for quite some time, so the ones you will find will be older and not new. Because they were such good quality firearms they have great collectors value and the prices for these used guns are VERY high. You can easily look on-line at some of the gun auction sites and see exactly whats available for sale. Mossberg Model 44's are great Military Training Rifles and so are the Winchester Match 22's if you can find them(Model 52,52A,B,C,D, or E Model Bolt Action Match Rifles with Target Sights). Expect to pay $275 and up though for these 22 rifles for one in good to excellent condition..
