Hi. I have recently developed lots of pimple-like spots on my chest and upper back. When I try to squeeze them, there is never any pus, just blood, and then they just hurt. I've had them a couple of times before, but never so many.
Anyone have any ideas what they could be a sign of? Or why I have them? they are really unattractive!
Thanks

You must have very oily skin. Never squeeze..it can cause junk to go further in and cause an infection. I would try cleaning the areas after a hot shower or bath (when pores are open) with alcohol. If that doesn't work see a dermatologist.

Anna, you sound like my 15 year old granddaughter. Sounds like adolescent. Keep you skin very clean, bathing, no powder, perfumes, no sweets, high acid content food. Don't squeeze
especially above the nose, can drive impurities upward towards the eye, ears , & brain. If it doesn't clear ion a few weeks go to a Specialist. Grampa

They are carbuncles. Squeezing only exacerbates the problem. Just wash and keep them clean. They will go away.
