You should be okay but why is a dog biting humans, this smacks of a very poorly trained dog to me. The owner will be responsible if anything happens to you, even though I have written that you should be okay you should still get some blood tests done at the doctors to confirm that you haven't got any infections.

If it only broje the skin and there was no Blood, then as long as you washed the affected area, I don't think you will have anything to worry about, but just to be on the safe side you should go ahead and see a doc, just to be safe

Probably okay if you are up to date with your TETANUS jab, although dogs do carry a lot of germs in their mouths.

The people who say rats have poison inside them, are actually waffling. It was not the rat that bit you .

Be sure the dog is up to date on his shots. Even if he is I would still suggest you go to the doctor. There are serval diseases that can be spread.

Also, be sure you cleaned and disinfected the area of the bite well. You don't want it to get infected.

I'd most definitely consult a doctor.

Rats can carry nasty things like Rabies or Hantavirus.

If your friendsays his dog "doesn't" bite, and yet it bit you-- then its possible the dog's behavior has changed becuase of an infection.

POssibly nothing, but only a doctor can say for sure.

You need to make sure his dog is up to date on all his vaccines as well. If he broke the skin, that means he can infect you, whether you saw blood or not.

You should be ok if you wash it really well but if it looks infected you should see a doctor very soon.
