I just had a death in the family and I have to fly from Baltimore to Tucson. Where could I find the least expensive last minute plane tickets?

Southwest flies to Tuscon from BWI, check southwest.com. Looks like everything for leaving immediately is running about $550 for that route. Maybe try plugging $400 into priceline.com and see if you have any luck with that.

Sorry for your loss. Airlines unfortunately don't offer much in the way of bereavement discount anymore. You can get a flexible ticket with a letter from the funeral home, but these are usually much more expensive than a normal ecomony, advance-purchase fare.

To maximize results and minimize time spent searching, I'd try http://www.bookingbuddy.com which will search Hotwire and Priceline, both are sometimes very good for last-minute; it will search many other sources, too, saving you from having to find them, then re-typing BWI to TUC and dates over and over each time. If a better offer exists, it'll show you that too, and link you through to the source for booking--with no additional fees for the service.

You might also consider http://us.lastminute.com which are often cheaper for last minute by bundling air+hotel or air+car.

i imagine its tremendous that you're questioning about each and every of the execs and cons for each vacation spot. i'd advise making a chart of the beaches you're thinking. Have a favorable and a unfavourable area. That way you could immediately get an concept of which ones to remove on the on the spot. i can advise Virginia sea coast when you're going between would - September. it finally fit into your funds for motel and nutrition. There are evening time events and eating places interior strolling distance of the motels. you're also a short rigidity from procuring, historic internet sites, and museums. good success and characteristic thrilling!

I would recommend Southwest air. Great staff, can't beat the prices, and have the best on time departure rating of all the major airlines.
